Question Please Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yea my name is joey i live in odessas texas i have always been into classic trucks but i will actually start to work on them now.my first project is a 69 cst10 long bed.(pis. cominc soon)i bought it for 2500 we drove it around for about a year. but then they handed it over to me.the interior was execellent condition.nice polk media speakers with a 600 watt calafonia amp. i stripped everything down including gas tank and seats and everything i could with the tools i have.i found it has ALOT of rust on the right and left top floor panels and i need help on wat to do with it.many say i need to buy a whole new floor panel,but others say i could do it with sheet metal,but i need to know wat to use onn it because once i get done with that i can get started with the interior wich i cant wait for.....PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!
