Fuel filter getting too hot??
Hey guys...got a question for you. I want to know if the metal fuel filter is located just off the carb on top of the intake, would it be possible for it to get too hot and cause the fuel to bubble and allow air to get in the line and cause sputtering?
It only does it when REALLY hot out side and after about 20 miles? EVERYTHING electrical and distrib. and plugs/wires has been replaced including the rotor, cap and bug and the ignition module. SO they are ruled out. Also new is the filter itself and the electric fuel pump. What is your opinion on this?? Should the filter be relocated to where it is not so hot and can get some air flow to it? Dave
