Didn't find the build sheet....yet, but
I did find a couple of metal tags on the seat springs. They are made just like the seals we used on railcars to seal the doors after we closed them, meaning you have to cut them to get them off. Anyway, they have a date on them, which says "9 10 68" with a seven-digit GM part number stamped in the metal. Wish I had found the build sheet, but the seat has been reupholstered by a previous owner. There's no carpet/pad in it and unless it's behind the gas tank, there ain't no build sheet on my truck. Shucks...
