Texas Prepares for Ike (merged)

Hey all, this is my first time on since Ike. Still no power at the house but no damage thankfully.

We finally got our office back up and running today but they're still working on our building. Some windows got blown out and part of the roof got ripped off. This is a 12 story building. We had about an inch of standing water in parts of my floor (7th floor) when I came out to check on it on Sunday morning and I've heard that the top 3 floors will have to be completely gutted. BUT, at least I still have a job to come to....

I sincerely hope that everyone else is ok and Ike didn't do too much of a number on them...
