72 C10/and 95 1500 switch-a-roo

I got a 95 chevy 1500 with a 350/700r the rear-end has leave springs

I want to put engine and trans. in to a 72 short bed C10 I found. also brakes AKA master and boster; Ac and any thing else that will go .
72 rolling chassy only no engine trans.
The 72 has factory AC but is trashed with 12 circet fuse box
Also the 72 has no cluster or dash or seat or gas tank it just a shell.

or Would it be eazier to do a whole body switch after shorting the frame or somthing like that

Any advice on this before i get started would be helpful and this seems like the right to ask

I think that i can do all the work my self because i just got a new screw driver set from The HOME DEPOT ......Oh and a nut driver set too LoL!
So will be fine
