Pre-65 vs. Post-65 Rear End ?'s
I know some 64 & earlier trucks use a 'drop-out' style pumpkin like a F**d 9" vs. the 65 & later salsbury (sp?) style that requires the gears to be set-up internally within the housing. What does it take to get the 5-lug pattern on a 64 w/o swapping to a later housing?
I've found differing info. Since it's the weekend, I can't confirm by calling manufacturers so I thought I might check w/some of the board members & see what they've done.
