manual steering problem

So, I tried to swap to power steering on my 63. I didn't realize that I need to buy a bracket to offset the gearbox from the frame. So I swiched back to my manual box until I get the bracket delivered. My problem is that it seems that my steering is binding somewhere when I turn right. It looks like it might be binding on the x-member at the top of it. Is it possible that I did not get the pitman arm up high enough? I tightened the crown nut pretty darn tight and have the cotter pin in. Should I put a spacer in between the nut and arm?

Thanks
Mark
