Truck prices

I was talking to a friend of mine today. He is a wholesaler in the car biz he was buying a 02 GMC Envoy from me. we got to talking about old trucks, he asked what my plans for my 70 were. After I told him some of my plans he said " you'll never get your money back, those trucks are not bringing anything". He went on to say that in the last two weeks he has seen three of the 67-72 type trucks run at two different sales. the first was a 70 swb 350-350 decent paint little rust 1300 was high. the next was a 69 lwb fresh paint 2000 was high bid. the last was a 72 swb cheyenne it was nice he said. 4000 was the top bid. Two of the three sold but he didn't say witch one didn't. What is the deal with truck prices ,I know time are hard but c'mon. Maybe I should wait a couple of months to see whats gonna happen before I move on with mine. It is NOT a keeper. Jim
