Pictures of things at the junk yard
I went to a couple of local junk yards and it seems I always find things that make me have questions. First picture is of the low back bucket seats in a 1977 Blazer. I know that the brackets are wrong, but have people had success in using these in our trucks? It seems one could fabricate some brackets. Do people then reinforce the floor somehow. I see these type buckets around all the time and I am tempted to try them in my 1978 GMC. Second picture is of an emblem I am not familiar with. It says "Trailering Special". It was on the back tailgate of a 1978 GMC Jimmy. I took the picture with some other emblems just to show the size. Is anyone familiar with this emblem (option)? I also found a 1973 Cheyenne Special truck that had a tool and stowage box like the 1970-1972 trucks had. It is on the drivers side instead of the passenger. What years were the tool and stowage boxes available. Is the door the same as the 1970-1972 versions. It looks the same. Never dull at the bone yards.
