Electrical Shortage??? - 1969 CST
Thanks for your support, I was able to crank my 69 CST by cleaning the gound cable good at the motor attachment. It was rusty!
Another Issue: When I attach the battery cable...I still have the clicking sound in the regulator and perhaps the horn relay inside . I have replaced the horn relay because my horn was sounding all the time. I had unplugged the horn under the hood. I went ahead and replaced any suspicious suspects! Note: The parts I took off were all original and were stamped "Made in USA". Remember those good old days? I must have a short or faulty horn contact under the steering wheel inside the steering column. I will have to find a puller to get the S. Wheel off. Thanks for your help. Any other ideas? Best Regards! Swampdawg |
