14bff how tight should it be...

How tight should the nut which holds the hub to the spindle be on a 14bff? When I spun it out of there it was pretty loose, when I spun it back in I snuged it by hand then tightened it to the next keyway opening. It does not appear to be binding but thought I'd ask....
