Cab front clip alignment, after frame swap
I tried to do a cab front clip swap onto a 69 frame this weekend.
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...2&postcount=29 Three problems. 1) cant line up all four of the cab mounts to get all four bolts in at same time and not have it too close to the bed. 2) new rubber mounting kit from Brothers did not come with the crush sleeves should I reuse old crusty ones or not use them at all. 3) purchased the 67-68 radiator mount kit and it does not work on the 69 Frame. Looks like it will have to be the 69 up radiator kit instead. Even these holes did not line up that well. What is the best way to align the cab and front clip on the six mounting points, besides using a lift that I dont have? Thanks, THomas
