kids these days...

A little over a year ago I bought my truck. After taking it by the car wash on the way home I began messing with it in the driveway. I was kinda pissed when some kids, probably junior high, walked by after getting off the bus and said, "What's that piece of junk?" I nicely replied, "It's a truck I'm going to fix up." They laughed and kept walking. Today I had the garage up and was putting the front end on (truck was in the garage) and a few of the same kids walked by. They asked, "Are you working on a truck?" I replied, "Yeah it's the same truck you guys asked me about a little over a year ago." Their faces said it all... The look of appreciation for the classic was displayed. If only the kids would put down the video games and talk their parents into resurrecting a classic.

Here's a before and present...
