Clutch Confusion
At the risk of opening up a controversial subject. I need to replace the clutch on my 71 3/4T. It has a 402 that is mostly but not entirely stock. Rear is a 3.55 posi. I wouldn’t mind a lighter pedal pressure but don’t want to sacrifice durability. The current clutch is a Borg and Beck style and lasted about 80k miles.
I’m debating on switching to a diaphragm type of clutch due to the lighter pedal pressure. Basically I’m looking for input that would talk me out of it or confirm that this really is the best way to go. Your help is greatly appreciated
