Changing to Internal Voltage Regulated Altenator

I'm trying to figure out how to get rid of my external regulator but can't figure out what set up I have now. I have one plug with 2 wires, and one wire that bolts to the back of my alternator currently. This does not seem to be like others have listed when they do their conversion. My truck is a 72. Was anything changed in 72? Also, one write up said you need to connect the idiot light for it to work correctly, but I don’t see where my wire for that is.
