i've always loved these trucks, the clincher was benny's 72 in "dazed and confused" and now i'm lucky enough to own one. the previous owner of this truck started doin some mods ie: -bucket seats from a camaro -muncie 4 speed -410 gears -rebuilt 327 -edlebrock intake -holley 650 -headers and 2" flowmasters -16x7 outlaw IIs the truck needs the typical body repairs, swiss cheese floor, rockers cab corners,. which i think i'm gonna tackle myself (with the help of this wonderful website of course!!)but for the most part this a solid truck i'm gonna start a build thread but here is some things i have alredy started -fullgauge cluster -leather power seats from a blazer -column mount tac -chevy side markers -grant mahogony steering wheel -15x10 aluminum turbines rear 275/60/15 bf radial ta -15x8 front 255/60/15 and here are some ideas for the future -a 2/4 drop -flat black paint -painted grill with chrome headlight bezels -wood plank bed -power steering -chrome bumpers -shaved emblems -mahogany veneer for cluster and glove box i can't wait to show it off this summer!!http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/i...lies/metal.gif p.s. i loooooove this site all the pix and threads are extreamly helpfull!!! |
