1 ton axle swap questions

I pulled the axles from a 1986 Chevy 1 ton single rear wheel truck, looking to put them in my 1970 blazer.

Looking to put disc brakes on the rear.

The front is a Dana 60 with a 32" spring perch to spring perch.
The rear 14bolt has a 40" spring perch to perch.

Anybody done this? Is it pretty straightforward? Looking for tips before I get started.

Thanks,
Dan
