Steering Stabilizer Optional on Our Trucks?

My '71 Blazer 4x4 has no factory provisions for a steering stabilizer on either the axle or tie rod.

My '72 K10 has a factory looking tab on the axle, but no provisions on the tie rod (and nothing on the SPID). I borrowed a picture from the board and circled the tab in red.

Did our trucks get factory steering stabilizers, and if so how did they mount ('73-up trucks had provisions on the tie rod)?
