Front air bag plate question.

Ive lurked for a while on this site, and am starting a frame off build in a month or so. Id like to do air ride on it but dont have the money to spend on new A-arms or the experience to put cups in the upper arms.
I found an ebay ad that has upper and lower plates that bolt on to the a-arms. Is this a good solution? Maybe if they were welded on? Would I get as much lift/drop?
