Rear Axle Brake Line Fittings
I'm replacing rear wheel cylinders and hard brake lines on the '72 4x4 in my signature. The replacement hard brake lines (that run from the "T" on the differential cover to the wheel cylinders) have 1/8"? diameter thread on the "T" end rather than 1/4"? diameter thread of the old ones. So my local auto parts store sold me the brass adapters pictured, but they won't screw into the "T" because the unthreaded head seems to be too long.
1) Is an adapter the right way to go here and if so where do I get one that fits? 2) I would be okay with replacing the "T" and rubber line up to the frame if I knew of a source for one with the correct thread size and length.
