Power brake question

First off, I want to say thanks for the great tech support this sit has to offer, I will be a paying member shortly because I have some parts to sell and possibly a truck.

The question: Is there any difference between a power booster from a '70 with drum brakes or a booster from a 72 with discs?

The reason is I have a 72 with disc brakes that I wanted to swap on my 70 and I purchased a whole power assisted booster/master cylinder set-up off of a 72 to have power brakes. I am unsure now what I want to do with the 72 and wanted to see what my options are.

I want power brakes on my 70 regardless. Can I just switch master cylinders on the booster and use it for the drum '70?
