Brake Conversion Hard Line Question.
Hey guys, I spent this weekend ditching the stock from drum brakes in favor of some discs (still not done though). I bought a spindle/rotor kit from McGaughty's.
Anyway, my truck was a manual drum setup, however I have a decent used booster and master cylinder from a '71-'72 C10 including the disc brake proportioning valve that I want to use. After looking at my current hard lines exiting my drum/drum proportioning valve its clear that the rear hard line isn't going to work with the disc proportioning valve because the existing hard line would need to make a 90* bend and I fear the old line would bust in the attempt. So, what are you guys using that have done this swap? Thanks!!
