One wire alternators - Vs 3 Wire - and more alt discussion
I would like to change my truck over to a polished alt.
I have yet to find any one that makes a polished ext regulated alternator, I can find some in chrome but really want polished. So I can go 1 wire - should I just run 6 or 8 gague to the starter for the best performance of the HEI, MSD box, headlights Etc? What happens to the old Ext regulator wires? Any thoughts or directions - I have read http://www.madelectrical.com/electri...hreewire.shtml has to say and it makes some since but much of it was written 5 years ago or more so does it really apply to todays world?
