New guy from Utah

Just wanted to introduce myself. My name's Matt and I live just outside of provo here in central utah. I grew up on a farm south of here driving a stack of different trucks. 69 chev, 74 GMC, 80 GMC, 84 GMC, 60-something GMC 2 1/2 ton truck, etc.

I put myself through college working as a mechanic so I'm no stranger to grease, grime, and lots o' bandaids. About the only work that I pay someone else to do on my vehicles is tires, alignment, exhaust, and body work.

I've owned a 78 C10, 1983 K20 Sub, and 1991 V2500 Sub, all w/ 350's.

I bought a 1984 GMC K1500 longbed w/ a LE9 305 & 700R4. Truck is originally from AZ, so there's almost no rust on it. I don't have any pictures of it yet, but it's nothing special. Yet.

I'm going to be building a 350 for it over the next year or so. ( see here: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=334330 ) And probably a newer (92-ish) tranny for it also.

I also have 5 kids, all of whom now want the truck once I'm sick of it. Frustrates my wife to no end!

Matt
