Tilt column on eBay (not mine) - warning!
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=300307115630
Was just in contact with the guy selling the column above. It's clearly a van column (wrong neutral safety switch position, flat connector, etc.) but he's selling it as a bolt-in truck column. When I pointed it out to him and asked him to update the description, he said this: Its off a 1972 chevy motor home truck. but it is the smae as a 1969-1972 chevy pickup you just have to buy an adaptor and move the neutral safety switch. Never easy to do. I dont think they would be disappointed at all. With bids approaching $200, clearly people don't see that it's not a truck column, and with him calling it a "bolt in and go, tilt conversion" I guarantee someone will be disappointed and I hate to see that happen to a fellow truck owner (or anyone else). Maybe if more people contact him, he'll see the error of his ways. Brent
