TURBO 400 Rebuild Questions
I am fixing up a 73 chevy 3/4 Ton, and it turns out that my transmission case has a crack in a place that cannot be welded. I was already planning on have to have the transmission worked on but now am going to end up with another case and having the trans rebuilt. Just curious if there is anything anyone reccomends that I ask the guy to do? I asked about a shift kit and he said he could just drill something? to allow more fluid to pass? I have no clue about any of it! So anyones input would be greatly appreciated. .. i should say that the truck is stock. 454 Big Block and no plans for serious motor upgrades but hopefully get a cabover camper for her.
