got some history on my 71 shortbox
got some good information back from the original owners kid. found out that the truck went to the forest service and then went back to the dealer cause the lease was up. then it was purchased by the original owner with 16000 miles. it has always been in a garage or covered up and hasn't been driven in the last 10 years. the transmission was rebuilt, and it has 132,000 miles. it has original paint and it is a timberliner. me and my brother are wondering if the timberliner was put on for the forest service or was put on at the dealer to sell it. what do you guys think.
