Oil pressure gauge all the way up...

Hey guys, i swear i saw something like this like a week ago, and i cant find the thread, so sry for the repeat. I was drivin the truck home from work 2 days ago and noticed the oil pressure gauge was maxed out, not at 60, just all the way to the right, pointing horizontally to the left. I didn't see it happen so i don't kno what it did when it occurred. I was wondering what you guys think i should check first, the sender or the gauge? And how would i go about checking the sender anyway? Thanks...

BRAD
