Question 62 chevy stepside ?hei wireing and questions

what i have is a 62 chevy short stepside body that i mounted on a 95 4wd.k5 blazer frame i changed it to a 4bl.carb and manifold and ii have a hei. dist.,i allso have a 86 chevy 350 trans and converter to swap out the 460e trans.my goal is to do away with the computer .the blazer was in a fire and all the elect.were burned up.i would like to know if the early trans will work with the blazers trans fer case and will it operate right with just the floor shifter to put it in 4wd.also can someone please show me a simple way to wire in the hei.dist. and the late model alternator, and starter, all the 62s org.wireing is intack so i would like to just splice into the old wireing to get it running. i know the trans fer case has a speed sensor for the speedomiter but iam not concerned about that at this point, iam just concerned if it will work right with no elect.any help would be greatly appriciated Thank you.
