Its alive !!!!!!

there is a good update here and I will share my lesson i learned today.

Well I finally got a little motivation and time to work on the truck , so today i got the new motor in the 64 fired up !!!!
after getting everything hooked up and making sure i had everything connected that needed to be ( or so i thought) I hit the starter switch in my hand while working the carb and dist cab with the other trying to get the initial timing fine tuned , it cranked and cranked , wouldnt start. I tried again , nothing. I was thinking man i wish i had some starting fluid. Then I thought hey i have a bottle of nitro-methane for my rc car ,, lol i poured some down the carb waited a few seconds for my eyes to stop burning from the fumes, and hit the button. would you beleive it fired up the first time i hit the switch
I was soo on top of the world , enjoying the sound of open headers echoing thru my garage . that lasted about 3 seconds. My happiness was washed away as a texas sized gusher of oil sprayed up all over me ,the truck , and worst of all my freshly painted and detailed motor. thats when i realized i didnt plug the oil pressure port on the back of the block. It was one of those things that feels like everything was in slow motion I am on the drivers side of the truck and as luck would have it , i needed to get to the other side to kill the truck.
so the lesson is , after you think you have everything done, check it 3 more times i guess.
even with all the cleanup i have to do now, it doesnt even matter because IT RUNS !!!!!!!!!!!
