Dana 60 oil seal replacement question

I seem to have oil getting into the brakes (diff oil is low with no external leak, wet brake shoes). The manuals aren't too clear about the different types, Eaton,Dana. I am assuming that I just remove the axle shaft and then the hub and use a puller to extract the inner oil seal? I haven't looked yet. Have any of you guys done this on a Dana and is it pretty straightforward or do I need any special instructions or tools? Thx WLH
