Side View Mirrors... advise, ideas & pictures please
Ok, figured that I would turn to all of you for new and different ideas. I just spent last weekend patching up the holes in the doors from the PO's previous sets of mirrors. Since I had mismatched mirrors on my truck, I have decided to replace them.
What I'm looking for is a good sized mirror, that is solid, and has very little vibration. The ones I had made night time driving a challenge when trying to figure out where the bouncing bright lights really were. I'm looking for a larger mirror that gives me good visibility to see the little cars out there. I'm just wondering what set ups some of you have used, and to see some of the modifications that you may have made. I did attach a new mirror from Checker, but the vibration is actually worse than before, and (even though I tightened the he!! out of it) it folds back at 50mph. Thoughts Ideas Pictures?
