Question for all of you
71 with 305 TPI, 700-R4, HEI with internal alternator showing 14 volts on gauge. While heading for a local cruise in today very hot 96 Degree's F I was running A/C radio, garmin, had the cell pluged in also. When I came to a stop sign or light it would die on me. It would crank right up though.
I turned the A/C off for the last couple of miles to the meet and it was fine. Checked the battery when I got home it was fine. I load tested it. You think I need to set the timing up a little more. It's running 7000 at idle without the air on. With it on it drops to 5000. Sounds low to me. The truck runs good though no hesitation at all.

It sucks not being able to hear! LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB! After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs. |
