I would leave the current paint on it and throw on some black side trim. What I did to my last truck is find the correct color white duplicolor rattle can and painted the bad spots on the white. It blends in well and makes the truck look way better imo. Faded blue looks cool Look up 72powell (I think). He has a truck like yours that he lowered with rust/faded paint and made it into a magazine.
