I had a rebuilt q-jet and it kept leaking air near the throttle assembly. I finally got fed up with it and bought a new Edlebrock and have not had any trouble since. Thanks to California smog, it was around $500. I also put a glass fuel filter inline so I can see any water or crap that might build up.
