AC blower not hard enough

I read this over a year ago on this board but can't find it anymore.

I have a '76 C10 and the blower on the AC does not blow hard enough. I remember someone on this board took a blower motor out of a more current Chevy (possibly late 80's or early 90's) and with little mods made it work in their C10. If I remember right the motor itself fit, they just had to modify the cage.

Does anyone remember reading this? They were able to use this motor and it blew a lot harder like a modern truck, not weak like the older chevy's.

Or if someone has another fix I'd be open to that as well. It just gets too hot in Texas to put up with how little air blows out from my A/C. And mine blows cold. I just had the entire system redone last year!
