Exhaust routing
I've been searching the forum for a while trying to get as much info as I can, but I haven't been able to find anything directly related to my question.
I have a 72 K5 with a small block. I'm planning on running the stock ramhorns. It has an aftermarket intake, mild cam, and a 650 holley with vacuum secondaries. I had headers and duals running out the back, but I'm a little tired of the headers, plus the truck is a 4 spd. Getting the clutch linkage away from the headers and in alignment has been challenging. I'm going for a reliable daily driver and relatively quiet. I've been thinking about going with a two into one setup, similar to factory with exit behind the driver's side rear tire. Any of you guys running a similar setup. Any advice on muffler size, tubing size, and exhaust routing? I do go off-road occasionally, but nothing aggressive. Just light summertime wheeling to a nice camping/swimming spot. thanks Zach
