Talking 550 horses and 605 ft pounds to much?

I now have all my parts to assemble my 406 small block. Is this overkill? I am having it built by a top notch engine builder who built my brothers drag car motor. With all the high dollar parts i am using the engine dyno program we checked estimate torque at 605 ft pounds at 4,000 rpms with 550 horse to the flywheel. I know i will lose some by the time it gets to the rear wheels but this should be a beast with my 4:10 gear ratio... what do you guys think?
