test run on the longhorn....6 gears!

The weather was good enough to try out the Richmond trans! nice easy run(no plates ) Man thats a set of gears in that box. 3.28 1st x 4.10 gears really puts her low....hard to keep from barkin the tires under normal driving! 6th gear sets the tach @ 1500 @ 40mph. my first run would indicate that 3.73 s would be a better overall gear, but im gonna run her for a while & see how it goes. i still have a set of 3.40s.....but that booger would be flat flyin down the hyway @ 2500 in OD!
