The '69 Bites The Dust

I am working on the final disassembly of the '69 C-10. The first picture is a year ago when I was driving it. The cowl and cab inner roof were really rusty so I decided to "borrow" some parts off of it for the '71 4x4. I finally decided to rip it apart and put the sheet metal from the blue '67 3/4 ton (third pic) on the '69 1/2 ton frame. I need a good truck to pull my new trailer with and I figure this will fill the bill. I was going to shorten the frame while I had it apart but I changed my mind, since I will be using it to pull the trailer and haul parts.

I will update this thread as I progress on this but there may be some delays. I'm working on a couple of other projects at the same time…
