Polishing Eagle Alloy Rims?

I just got a set of Eagle Alloy 211's. I noticed the other day there were some water spots on them, so i washed and polished them with Mothers Mag & Aluminum polish. I've always had good luck with mothers on other trucks but it seemed to leave a chalky film on these rims. I'm sure this has already been talked about but i wanted some advice on what to use to have them show ready by this weekend. Thanks.
