Possible Shop Truck candidate 1970 SWB on CL
Went and looked at this one yesterday http://charlotte.craigslist.org/cto/1414965279.html
Thought it looked really good in the picture..... Unfortunately, he is WAY over priced for what's there....front clip was in pretty good shape, pass door was dented pretty good, typical rust in the rockers, the interior floor looked okay, but saw a little rust at the pass kick panel/ floor, doors were rusted on the bottoms, bottom of the cab looked good (floor supports all in tact, innner rocker good too), windshield rust in pass upper corner, bed was in good shape, tailgate straight but rusted out in the inside bottom, the frame looked really good, he is in the racing industry so has refreshed the old 350 with rebuilt heads and new gaskets, rebuilt tranny, grill had a pretty good dent on the driver side in the middle, had original AM/FM Push button radio, original paint, put in a 4.11 posi rear end with detroit locker, SPID had nothing special, but a pin stripe option.....I thought that was cool....never seen it in person He said a guy offered him $4500 for it, but it said no way, I got more than that in it....He said if he can't get $6k for it, it'll sit, outside!!! (he's got a small garage)....Too bad, b/c I thought this would be a perfect candidate for a shop truck....drop this bad boy, add some bigger wheels, and roll.....
