Stock TBI swap to 350

I have a 69 chevy Pick up a nice ride and I would like to install TBI for better fuel milage. I seen a lot of stuff on the internet that it is doable, I have a stock 350 with a 600 Holley and Edlebrock manifold,HEI, headers ETC. I bought an adapter plate,so I can keep that manifold, got a fuel pump, VSS,etc. and I want to install all the stock stuff from an 88 pick up 305 to the 350. I have all the parts needed but I would like to talk to someone that has do one to see if it is worth it. I like the old school look where everything is hidden and covered by my K&N filter. Thanks Dave
