Old Wood grain comparison with new

I thought some of you Cheyenne Super guys would find this interesting.

Here's some pictures for comparison. The new bezel has the old 3m di-noc woodgrain on it. Before it started being made in Taiwan or China.

There are two samples of the new taiwanese woodgrain in the photos.

One is sample # wg254 and one is # 430.

The old di-noc # that Gm used is 254.

It's interesting to note that GM used some kind of adhesive that seemed to fill the pebbling of the bezel face in order to get a smooth fiish and to adhere the di-noc to it.

If nothing else, it's something to fuel discussion.
