5 Speed Swap Question
I was wondering how hard it would be to swap in a 5 spd from an 02/03 3500 to an 82 3/4ton with a granny low 4 spd?
I figure the trans should hold up since it came from a 1 ton but what I am wondering is how difficult it might be to swap in the later trans. I found the 5 spd for 450 bucks and would love to get the overdrive since I have a few long haul trips I need to make with the 82. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated. Paul
