I'm looking for ideas regarding spare tire stowage on, or under my flatbed. Any pictures, locations, or designs would be appreciated. I really don't want to take up space on top of the bed. I'm leaning toward a tractor-trailer type carrier that mounts under the bed. I may have to buy a used unit then cut it down & reweld it to fit my 16" tire. There's a lot of really neat designs out there if you do a google, but as I say the tractor trailer design seems to be the most logical. What are you carrying under your bed?
