Could a St-Louis built truck have YF5 (California) option

In a separate thread I'm trying to research a potential truck to buy, and the last oddity about it that I haven't been able to resolve is that the SPID shows it built in plant "S", which is St. Louis, but it also lists

1YF520 CALIFORNIA ASSY. LI

Anyone seen this before, or have a plausible explanation?

Thanks,
Dave
