sending unit lock ring removal tool makes life easier!

yesterday i changed my fuel tank sending unit in my gmc and i used the sending unit tool i bought online. It took me all of 5 seconds to take the lock ring off! lol ive never done it before but ive heard that otherwise you have to bang the ring to get it around and unlock it. just wanted to let you guys know, if your planning to do this in the future spend the extra 13 bucks and get one. it will make doing the job a whole lot easier. my friend was there with me when i replaced it. hed never seen the tool before, but had installed many in the past. when i took the lock ring out with it his jaw dropped lol. just thought id pass that along to u guys. you can find the tool in online catalogs. i bought mine from thetruckandcarshop.com but u can find them online elsewhere also.
