Replacing rear brake hose.
I did not want to replace the rear brake hose, but it was real bad. I knew the brake line would have to be cut, so I put the job off. I knew if I cut the line the fluid in the master cyl. would leak out. So I thought about it, and came up with this solution. I bought a plug for the brake line. Undid the line upfront, and quickly put the plug in the line from the master cyl. The line at the rear had to be cut because I could not get it loose. I bought 2, 40 inch lines. bent one, and connected them. Bought another shorter piece of line to go to the hose. Then put a plug on the end of the rear of the new line. Then connected the line on the front. Then bent the line to the new rear brake hose. Then connected everything up. Keep an eye on the brake fluid in the master cyl. Keep it full. I did not have to bleed the master cyl. again. The hardest thing was to get the small line the correct length. Then bled the brakes. I bet you thought I would never shut up.
