Window trim
I was at the "big three" swap meet in San Diego a couple of weekends ago and bought some window trim that I have been needing for the truck. It is the rainy season here now and wanted to keep the water from getting inside the door, since the original was all rotted out.
I was disappointed to find that the new was just about as effective as the old rotted stuff. It did not come close to contacting the window, and let the water just roll in. I am looking for the type that actually contacts the window and seals the water out, not just stops the rattles. Does any one know where I can get some of the good trim? The felt that surrounds the window in the channel was fine and installed easy, but the inside and outside rubber and felt where you rest your arm were not what I wanted. I was looking for the scrubbers that look more like a windshield wiper and contact the window in an upwards radius and prevent the rain from soaking the inside of the door.
